Remembering Andy Griffith

Folks on Facebook and Twitter reflected on Andy Griffith's passing Tuesday. Griffith, 86, was an actor, director, producer and award-winning singer and writer. But to many, he will always be remembered as the beloved sheriff and father on "The Andy Griffith Show."

  13. I always liked the episode where Aunt Bea's pickles were just terrible: no one could stand to eat them but also couldn't bear to tell Aunt Bea. She decided to enter them in the county fair, but Opie and Andy swapped them out, accidentally or on purpose i don't remember, for store-bought ones, and she won! Then they had to face the music. :)
