Hi everyone! I have decided to share with you some of the best themes in my arsenal. Themeforest offers some of the best themes on the market and I hope they will serve you as well as they have served me.
The thing I love about drag and drop themes from Themeforest is that they don’t require any background or knowledge in web design or programming, you can just pick up the key elements you want to include in the final design and drop them in the desired location.
Since I know most of you are not interested in spending fortune on your theme (especially if you are just starting out), I made sure I recommend themes that are in the lower price range so they are accessible to everyone, and still offer great functionality and modern design. So let`s get started:
This was the most popular drag and drop theme in the year 2013 and currently version 3 has being offered, which will serve you well in 2014 I am sure! The new design brought a new drag and drop slider you can customize with ease, along with new layout options – box or full for more flexibility.
It also supports Woo Commerce so you will be able to create enterprise-level ecommerce site with ease! In addition to this, you can:
· Create pages using a simple drag-drop module
· Change color of the background and virtually all the elements of the design
· Use 15 different theme patterns
· Apply built-in translator and shortcodes
· Insert price tables, social share buttons and much more
I was actually going back and forth and thinking whether I should place this theme as number one, but eventually it ended up as the first runner-up for Modernize.
Jupiter theme is certainly one of the best and most comprehensive responsive themes I ever came across. With 100+ shortcodes and narrative video tutorials, it will transform you into a web design guru in a matter of seconds!
It is also 100% responsive and is retina display ready, meaning it was specially coded so that it avoids and bitmap images. The results are fantastic – highest possible resolution on Retina devices!
This is a bit more serious theme and I see a lot of people using it for corporate websites. It is also hugely popular among SEO service providers since it is clean, easy to set up and it gives you that high-end-look clients can trust!
I don’t know about you, but I just love minimalistic themes; I don’t like it when there is “too much” going on on the website in which case people just get lost and leave the website without even looking at what you have to odder. This theme will convey the nature of your business completely using a clean, modern design.
It also comes with a full drag-drop page builder, advanced admin panel and live color sampler/changer.
As you might have guessed, this theme is more suited for individuals, artists, designers or just people who would want to present their artwork in the best possible way.
This is a hugely powerful theme, offering unlimited skins for unlimited possibilities! It comes equipped with a ton of all sorts of shortcodes, internal widgets, page and drag and drop templates.
Since this theme is so complex and designed to present your portfolio in the best possible way, it may be a bit slower, so make sure you check out the loading time of the demo site before deciding to buy.
As the title suggests, this is a theme best suited for non-profit organizations or environmental orientated websites.
It is a responsive theme (just like the rest of the themes we reviewed today), offering you:
· Unlimited sidebars
· Custom slider option for ease of use and total control
· A ton of useful shortcode
· Drag and drop builder (of course)
· The ability to chose between 450 available fonts or upload your own
· Built-in translator, thumbnail options and more!
