College coaches testified that they thought they had a guaranteed investment but ended up Minibus Hire Chesunt losing money in what prosecutors said was a fraudulent scheme run by former University of Georgia football coach Jim Donnan.

North Carolina State basketball coach Mark Gottfried, Texas State football coach Dennis Franchione, Cincinnati football coach Tommy Tuberville and former Texas A&M and Texas Tech basketball coach Billy Gillispie testified in Donnan's trial on federal charges including conspiracy, mail fraud and wire fraud. They said they lost large sums of money after investing in West Virginia-based GLC Limited.

Gottfried, who said he lost more than $300,000, said Donnan told him the investments carried "pretty much no risk." Tuberville testified that he and his wife invested nearly $2 million, but that Donnan didn't pressure him.
