  1. Another day, another collage. you're welcome! Coming in to W&M, I thought all first-years were freshman. Boy, was I wrong. There are transfer, exchange, St. Andrews, and non traditional students as well! I learned so much from working with these students as an Orientation Aide last year, from Europe's political scene, to the best kinds of chocolates from abroad, to what playing a sport in college entails. Not all students have had a freshman hall, and some students have kids and spouses they come home to each day. And that's groovy. It makes college and #williamandmary so amazing - it's one puzzle of brilliant and unique perspectives for us all to soak in. At orientation and beyond this year, I encourage you to be mindful and inclusive of your language. We welcome not only **first years (instead of freshmen) from the class of 2021, but also of '20, '19, and '18! Can't wait for another rewarding orientation with our T&M (transfer and more) students in August! also for more breathtaking shots at convocation bc I know you just went 馃槏 at that last pic. -@therhealdeal

  2. TGIF because day 5 of my externship is currently rad, although all the days have been great! Today, we had lectures on radiology and intubation (and got to practice incubating a mannequin, top right!) We also got certified in Stop the Bleed, a campaign to help someone at risk of bleeding out (see me attempting to pack a fake bullet hole wound and @sunnyvee6 putting a tourniquet on my arm.) Currently closing out my week with the Annandale Fire Dep for an EMS ride-along 馃殥 I'm thankful for the strong resources at #williamandmary, like the @cohencareercenter and our premed advisor, Dr. Sher, for inspiring me to reach my potential through awesome programs like this. Tip: if you're ever on campus in the summer, check these out and more bc people usually have a lot more availability to meet with you! -@therhealdeal

  3. LISTEN UP YALL, cuz this is it. Just kidding this isn't it, there are still 5 days left of me!! :~) Tuesday nights are my staff meetings, so this one goes out to @wmcampusrec. The Rec has been a huge part of my life at #williamandmary since I stepped foot on campus! I've pushed myself through rock climbing during Pathways before freshman year and by taking fitness classes I would've never imagined. I pushed myself further to turn my passion for cardio dance into a job. I pushed myself (and got pushed..) as an unseasoned goalie in IM floor hockey. I pushed myself to run a 5k after taking a 0 to 5k small group class (and I really was starting at 0 lol.) I'm also a big fan of the Eight Dimensions of Wellness, listed by my face in the first pic. The Rec helps me incorporate many of these aspects into my daily life. 馃拵today, I encourage you to tap into some of these dimensions. Maybe take a walk with a family member, or practice meditation. Find which dimensions you value most and which resonate with YOU, and then pay attention to those. 馃拵ok, I should ironically stop procrastinating on this workout, catch ya later -@therhealdeal
