  1. Hey everyone! I'm Sarah, and I'm super pumped to show you my life this week leading up to spring break! I'm a sophomore, majoring in International Relations with a minor in French. On campus, I'm the President of the William and Mary Synchronized Swim team (@tribe_synchro), Social Chair of the William and Mary Women's Chorus (@wmwomenschorus), as well as a member of the mock trial team! I'm also researching with a professor in the PPIR lab (political psychology and international relations lab) on the subject of Digital Diplomacy. In my free time you can find me climbing trees, spraining my ankle, or spending obscene amounts of flex at Swemromas! Can't wait to share this next week with y'all! -- @sarah_miner44

  2. Synchronized swimming isn't a super mainstream sport, but it's one of my favorite things I'm involved with at the college! Today at practice we were busy debriefing after a successful regionals meet this past weekend and preparing our routines to go to nationals later in March! I've attached some videos from today's practice as well as some of my favorite WM synchro memories! Ya I attached 10 pictures ya it's a little bit extra nah I don't have any regrets --@sarah_miner44
  3. Music is a huge part of my life here at William and Mary! I can't remember what this song is called and I don't feel like looking it up, but it's fun to play on the piano, especially after a wonderful chorus rehearsal with my favorite people❤️ If you were walking by Jefferson today, you might have heard @wmwomenschorus singing outside, but in case you weren't, I've attached a video!! (As well as some of my other favorite WoCo pics) -- @sarah_miner44
  4. Today I was lucky enough to talk with Shari Villarosa (on the left), a William and Mary grad and former US ambassador to Burma, Seychelles, and Mauritius under the Bush and Obama Administrations. Through my research with the Political Psychology and International Relations lab, I've gotten to talk to a number of professionals with experience in public diplomacy, which has been incredibly valuable! I'm super grateful to my professors for providing me with such a wonderful network of resources! -- @sarah_miner44

  5. Celebrating being done with midterms by climbing one of my favorite trees! This one has a great view of the sunken gardens😊 Tomorrow morning I leave for a clinic for Women in Music Leadership at Cornell, so I'm really trying to ~cherish~ my last day on campus before break! -- @sarah_miner44

  6. Joining William and Mary Mock Trial is arguably one of the best decisions of my college career. It's a LOT of work, but the people make it worth it! I'm not officially on the team right now, but I still go to practice bc I hate having free time! Our next competition is unfortunately the same weekend as synchronized swimming nationals, but even though I don't have a formal role on the team, I still help out at practice with whatever's needed! For example, tonight I played different witnesses for attorneys to practice their cross examinations. It was v fun I literally love mock trial

  7. And we're off! Today I, along with 7 other members of @wmwomenschorus (plus our wonderful director) are headed to Cornell University for a Collegiate Treble Choir Conference on Empowerment through Music! Our flight is leaving bright and early this morning so that we can get to Cornell in time for opening ceremonies tonight! -- @sarah_miner44

  8. The keynote speaker for the first day of our conference was Janice from Friends! Or as she prefers to be called, Maggie Wheeler! I'm not kidding this is literally her and straight up she's so nice. She's directed a community choir in Los Angeles for 11 years, and gave a very moving lecture on music involvement and the ability of songs to lead you home! (And no, her voice isn't like that in real life) #EmpowermentThroughMusic

  9. Coming at u with a sunset from the the beautiful Cornell University! I spent most of the day today in breakout sessions with choir members from NYU, Harvard, Cornell, Smith, and Mount Holyoke on topics like Intersectional Feminism, Public Identity, and Community Outreach through music! Good day. Also lost 3 boxes of Girl Scout cookies, which was bad. Overall 8/10

  10. Survived the weekend! I'm currently in the airport heading back to WM, tryna nap in preparation for my 7am flight tomorrow morning! I'd like to end my week here by saying how thankful I am. I'm incredibly blessed to have a choir director who coordinates conferences for us, mock trial coaches (who are also law students) who take time out their busy schedule to come help us, an 82 year old synchro coach who finds a way to get to practice twice per week, professors who not only support me but actually inspire me with their passion and drive, and fellow student leaders who provide examples of what I strive to be as a student and a person. William and Mary has given me all of these people and more, and I'm so so grateful each and every day! HAPPY SPRING BREAK EVERYONE!!! -- @sarah_miner44
