1. 3:00 p.m. Eastern: While we wait for the pope to visit Our Lady Queen of Angels School in East Harlem around 4 p.m., we're learning more about 5-year-old Sophie Cruz and her encounter with the pope on Wednesday in Washington, D.C. An immigration group behind the seemingly spontaneous meeting has said that it planned the little girl's meeting with the pope for more than a year.

  2. 12:30 p.m. Eastern: According to Rolling Stone, the pope is releasing a "prog-rock-infused" album called "Wake Up!" via the iTunes store on Nov. 27. Check out a track over on the RS website. SERIOUSLY.

  3. 11:20 a.m. Eastern: The pope has arrived at the September 11 Memorial, where he will pray and meet with victims' families.

  4. 11:10 a.m. Eastern: The pope's next stop is a interfaith ceremony at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. Attendees include relatives of people who died in the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

  5. 10:45 a.m. Eastern: The pope began his day in New York City with a visit to the United Nations, where he addressed the United Nations General Assembly. Much of his Spanish-language address was focused on climate change as well as peace and the global economic order.
