  2. Hello friends! My name is Kailey Townsend (@klytwnsnd) and I am a junior studying Communications and Political Science. I'm from New York City and I sometimes have the accent to prove it. On campus, I'm the Operations Manager at WHUS Radio, and a tour guide at the Lodewick Visitors Center. Today is a busy day for me. I'm even covering my first game for the Women's Ice Hockey team tonight. Join me for a little peep into my daily life.

  3. Like t-shirts and posters, buttons are a great way to express yourself. My backpack is probably my most prized possession, I take this everywhere. By displaying buttons, it gives a little insight into who I am and what I like. When I walk around campus, I look at backpacks the most. It's definitely a great conversation starter when someone asks, "Wait, so do you really like @NoDoubt?"

  4. Stopped into Dog Lane Cafe with Nathan! (@nfrancis101) We began our friendship this summer working as tour guides at the Visitors Center and bonded over our mutual love for cooking and Broadway. It's always a blissful time coming back together to laugh at jokes that aren't necessarily funny, especially over chais and smoothies.

  5. Time for work! I'm the Operations Manager at @WHUSRadio, our student-run radio station. My job lets me create rad content and still supervise at the same time. (Which really means that I share an office with my name on it with our General Manager.) Later on, I'll be interviewing CT locals, Dr. Martino for a studio session live on air! Swing by and get this new sticker design that came in!

  6. I live in Holcomb Hall, so the odds of you finding me in Whitney dining hall is very likely. Some of the best conversations and omelets have been created here. "Tell me what you eat, and I'll tell you what you are." If this is true, I'd be Kale. (Who am I kidding, that's just a nickname. I'd be a sour patch.)

  7. I joined the radio station as a means to get involved on campus and explore music in a more diverse yet experiential way. Being able to interview bands, DJ at night, and explore how the behind the scenes operations impact a radio station is one of my favorite aspects of UConn. Here, Mike from Dr. Martino slays the drums.

  8. The perfect end to this week is with a stellar view of tonight's @UConnWHOC game against Maine. Thanks to everyone who followed along today, came up to me to say hi, or simply just hit 'like'. I hope you all have a stellar fall break full of family and friendly warmth. @klytwnsnd signing off.
