Eyewitness accounts of U.S. inmate's botched execution

Several journalists witnessed the execution of Oklahoma inmate Clayton Lockett, 38. Lockett’s death was meant to be the 20th execution of the year in the U.S.


  1. A KFOR-TV reporter tweeted this before the execution began. The inmate wanted a steak dinner for his final meal, but was reportedly refused because it went over Oklahoma's $15 budget.
