The winds kept pushing me north…even when I wanted to go south.

  3. I started at 05:00 as per usual, but rather than taking a ferry from Downtown across the water, I went south to Fauntleroy.

  5. This landed me in Southworth, which was part of my first half-century and my first ferry+bicycle ride back in September 2012.  I managed to cobble the photos together (some with geotagging!) from that ride (which was unplanned):
  6. I took the same route as that ride until Long Lake Road, then headed south to stay atop the hills.  Even doing so, I still had to deal with some steepness, but I got down on the drops and pulled to get myself up those hills.  I could definitely feel it for the rest of the ride.

  12. Around here, I ended up passing at least three or four of these signs:

  14. I tried to take a shorter route to SR-3, but ended up running into private property and an imaginary road and had to turn back and take a more normal route.

  16. I wanted to avoid the area of that roundabout because of what had happened before around there, when a big red pickup thought I didn't belong on the road.  I can't seem to find the tweet about it, though.
  17. I took care of some things in Belfair.
