  2. I started climbing the hill known as northern Seattle at around 05:00.  It was rather cold, and I eventually lost feeling in my hands.

  4. I've noticed more and more speed bumps designed for ≤20 MPH speeds in the residential Seattle neighborhoods, which are nice for folks like me.
  5. Rather than taking the normal route in the Alderwood area, I rode along Ash Way.  Let's just say that I don't much care for the freeway interchange and will probably stop taking alternative routes around here.

  11. Rather than taking the routes I already knew, I just continued north through and past Everett, taking SR-529 to Marysville.

  13. Downtown was basically dead, unlike a place like Seattle on a weekend.
