  1. Alumni remember the rich academic environment at SU:
  2. David Rubin, Sherri Taylor, Steve Davis, and Courtney Barclay. Having Dean Rubin as a faculty advisor my freshman year gave me the confidence to stay at Newhouse and get the most out of its outstanding faculty. So glad I did.
  3. I loved that Cuse had so many different schools within the university: VPA, Newhouse, Maxwell, Whitman, Architecture, Information Studies, etc. When you have such specialized schools you get world renowned programs and teachers. You also get a student body that goes to college knowing what they want to do and being extremely passionate about it. Unlike most general liberal arts colleges, many of us had to decide what school we wanted to be in before we even got to cuse. So I felt very lucky to be surrounded by so many incredibly intelligent, driven people at Syracuse who I believe will be leaders in their fields.
  4. The dedication and attention from my professors at Maxwell, specifically in the polisci department. Prof. Pralle is an amazing professor. Everyone interested in politics should take a class with her!
  5. The professors and the people in my classes so much to learn from all and to be still living here and utilizing interns from the same school i graduated from and having professors as peers now
  6. Alumni even shared stories of meeting their true love at SU:
  7. I met my husband in the Fall of 1983 at Dellplain Hall.
  8. I also met my husband in brewster boland dorms my freshman year and we will be married 20 years this September.
