  3. Good morning y'all! I'm Jennie May and I help lead @syracuseu100 tours around campus, so let the week-long tour begin and follow me as I share my journey! For starters, I am a senior majoring in Marketing and Supply Chain Management in @whitmanatsu Public Relations in @newhousesu. Originally from Jacksonville, FL, I am always trying to meet new people whether traveling around Europe or visiting the local Syracuse community. -JWM #SyracuseU

  4. What is your favorite thing about SU?
  5. I love how big and small the university can be, there’s always someone new to meet but there’s always someone to say hi to when I am giving a campus tour.
  6. What is your favorite on-campus event?
  7. Orange Central and Philanthropy Week are my favorite events - I get to wear orange for an entire week and talk to a lot of new people.
  8. What is your favorite SU memory?
  9. Meeting a‘Cuse Dad on the Charles Bridge in Prague, Czech Republic.
  10. Group work? Of course! Starting freshman year with @whitmanatsu's SOM 122 introduction course I was able to analyze the coffee industry with one of my favorite professors, Ray Wimer. Jump forward to senior year, case studies and group work allow us to apply what we learn in the class to real world problems. (P.S. Flaum Grand Hall is the best work space on sunny afternoons.) -JWM #SyracuseU

  11. Today I'll be highlighting #TravelTuesday with my escapades around Europe last year! @SUabroad has over 100 options in 60 countries but I'm biased for my program, can you guess where I went?
Clue 1: I lived with a host mom who was able to cook everything
Clue 2: I took the metro to school and travelled to other cities using the AVE trains
Clue 3: I experienced a 10 day seminar before the semester started and met some of my best friends while learning about the history of the country

  12. #TravelTuesday If you guessed #Madrid, you're right! My time abroad was busy with travelling to smaller cities and historical sites like Ávila. Speaking Spanish and backpacking around allowed me to make the most of my experience. I even met a #CuseDad on the Charles Bridge in Prague, Czech Republic! @suabroad -JWM #SyracuseU

  13. Remember Star Wars? Plaza de España in Sevilla, Spain was one of the film locations! #TravelTuesday leads me to what I learned in my classes. I took international based @whitmanatsu courses. These gave me a new viewpoint on the world and have led me to pursue a career, potentially, abroad. Great weather, great professors and great friends epitomized my 4 months abroad! P.S. The decorative tiles are gorgeous! -JWM #SyracuseU

  14. How do you leave your mark? Each morning I love taking out my orange and repping my favorite school. From @syracuseu100 to Student Philanthropy Council to #OrangeCentral. Today I'll be sharing my #WisdomWednesday about being involved at SU! Step 1: attend all the involvement fairs. -JWM #SyracuseU

  15. Being on the Homecoming Court was such an honor, these students help run Syracuse and are the future leaders of our community. #OrangeCentral was a blast, from meeting all the SU alumni to wearing orange for an entire week! I even met a grandfather who was also visiting his grandson (a current SU student!) -JWM #SyracuseU

  16. Senior Welcome was a blast tonight! Class of 2017 had a great turnout and had a great photo session! The Office of Alumni Engagement did a great job setting up. Each year they work with the student body and plan events like tonight's. I love coming to Goldstein and planning #OrangeCentral as well as Philanthropy Week! -JWM #SyracuseU

  17. Can you name this building? On my walk to @Whitmanatsu this morning I saw this gorgeous view, leaves changing and Bird Library. A common question I get on my tours is, "How many times do you go to @SyracuseULib?" I love to have group meetings in the basement or on the first floor. Pages Cafe has all the snacks and coffee needed for a late night of studying. Plus we have a Special Collections/Rare Books section! -JWM #SyracuseU

  18. Wouldn't be a week without a picture of Crouse College! From sledding down the hill to hearing the chime masters everyday, it's an iconic building as I walk from @syracuseu100 to @newhouseu to @whitmanatsu. I love it when they play the Alma Matar and musicals! P.S. Can you spot the squirrel that made a guest appearance? -JWM #SyracuseU

  19. What a way to end a day with Hall of Languages! This iconic building, finished in 1873, is my favorite place to take pictures. I try to take a picture in front of the steps before each semester. Tip: Offer to take other people's pictures, usually they are alumni or parents of current students. Bonus points if you see wedding photos being taken! P.S. Can you tell it's fall up here at SU? -JWM #SyracuseU

  20. Candid photos are the best, right? Things to do here at Syracuse: Work with the @whitmanatsu Digital Media Team! This group is challenging the status quo with new articles, posts and, of course, tweets. I've been behind the screen since freshman year and have seen it grow in size and numbers. Best part is that I am able to attend guest lectures and live tweet or take photos of events! -JWM @SyracuseU

  21. Happy Friday! Things to do at Syracuse: Become involved in an organization that shares your values and ambitions. @enactussyracuse has offered me the opportunity to work with the local community and even with women in Guatemala. My favorite memory is from sophomore year when I went to St. Louis as an understudy for the presentation team and saw other #EnactusUSA teams from across the United States. -JWM #SyracuseU

  22. Saturday is the best day to have meetings, tours and adventures. Over the past three years I've collected quite a few name tags. My favorite was the all-access pass for Orange Central with the Student Philanthropy Council, I was able to volunteer at a lot of the @sualums events! But it's cleaning day so time to part with all of these. -JWM #SyracuseU

  23. Saturday night blues? Orange After Dark offers great activities at the end of the week. I've gone cosmic bowling (hint: wear white, it glows), to a movie premier (hint: get on one of the first buses) and Paint Nite (hint: there's hot chocolate and coffee)! Since freshman year I love getting the $3 tickets to the amazing events! -JWM #SyracuseU @orangeafterdark

  24. The rain stopped just in time for my last post. Syracuse has provided me an amazing environment to learn, grow and give back. From philanthropies to traveling abroad and finally internships, I can wait to see where I go from here! Thanks everyone for an amazing week! -JWM #SyracuseU
