Tegan and Sara rocks Houston

Canadian twins Tegan and Sara played a sold-out show in Houston March 15 shortly after a string of SXSW performances. The indie-pop sweethearts didn't disappoint the crowd of about 1,500 adoring fans at the Warehouse Live playing songs from recent album "Closer" and a couple of old hits.

  2. Love this picture of the line outside of Warehouse Live. Hundreds of Tegan and Sara fans waited while this ice cream truck parked right next to us. #teganandsara

  3. We got to venue at about 7 p.m. and ended up getting inside at 8:30 p.m. Some fans were waiting outside for eight hours to get in first and claim a spot near the stage.
  4. According to tweets and Instagram posts from that night (and grumblings) it was hard to see from most spots in the flat warehouse venue. At least the sound was good.
  5. I took this Vine video of Tegan and Sara on my way from the crowd to my spot behind the bar.
  6. Fans were thrilled about the duo's encore songs which included a melody of older hits.
  7. The show ended and slowly the crowds trickled out of the venue. Another vendor took advantage of the crowds and sold pizza and drinks from his vehicle.
  8. The band thanked fans on Twitter.
  9. Below is a review of the show.
