A conversation with Jack Watson

  1. He said former President Jimmy Carter often hated the press but he knew he needed it. Watson said today many media outlets have abandoned neutrality in favor of matching its audience's political ideology.
  2. Watson visited Texas State to speak during a Vaquero statue dedication. The 18-foot bronze statue was commissioned and donated to the college by Bill Wittliff. It stands in front of Old Main.
