  2. New Incentive Rewards for IBM Business Partner for cross-selling of hardware & softwareThe IBM Solution Accelerator incentive is a new channel incentive for selling combined software and systems and/or business solutions. 

    Software and Systems Reward: A 5 percent incremental rebate for selling eligible IBM systems and a 15 percent incremental rebate for selling eligible software together to a single client.

    Business Solutions Reward:  An additional 10 percent rebate for selling a solution aimed at a particular IT challenge on the eligible software content of the solution. The eligible solutions cover client needs such as turning information into insights, managing risk, security and compliance and social business.

  3. SmartCloud for IBM System x
    IBM Business Partners can now help small businesses experience cloud computing benefits with the new lower-cost (~$60K USD list) reference configuration of SmartCloud Entry on IBM System x. SmartCloud Entry is an easy to deploy, simple to use offering that features a self-service portal for workload provisioning, virtualized image management, and monitoring. This new configuration provides a template for Business Partners to help clients deploy a private cloud with a faster time-to-value.

  4. Ginni Rometty keynote on day two
    talked about IBM's strategic focus on smarter planet and the new era of computing. How shifts in technology are continually happening and the need to not get caught out, but that many CMO's (marketing) are not prepared for the new reality.
