1. This project shows my conceptual and technical growth/improvement, because of the fact that it is along the lines of the very first project I did (freeze action). Furthermore, not only have I chose to do the same project so that I can compare my work, but I also made it twice as hard, as I limited myself of any high tech lighting systems and instead used a basic stage light. Compared to my very first project, my quality of photo was the same if not higher while limiting my resources, and I was thus able to inquire/portray all the technical skills I learned throughout the year.
2. My successes were the beneficial outcomes of my projects such as gained experience and knowledge in the skill of photography. One challenge I faced during his semester was the limited amount of light I ended up using because of the resources I let myself be available to. Was I chose to deal with that was by simply either adding more natural light to my photos, or simply adjusting my camera to a higher ISO even if the quality of my photo dropped. Another difficulty I faced while completing the last project consisted of focusing. For example, in a dark environment needed to take freeze action photography in, I wasn't able to focus all the time, and had to constantly stop, turn the lights on, and focus for almost every shot. I could have approached these problems in many different ways, but if I had the chance to, I wouldn't approach it way than I did, because of the learning benefits I got through my trial and error.
3. I loved the way we did things this year in MPSA and wouldn't have asked for a better first year.
