Cows Make Great Marketers

If you've visited any city of size in the South, you've probably heard of Chick-fil-A. Their chicken sandwiches are the pinnacle of tasty and quick food, all served by a super-polite staff. They've also got some of the best integrated marketing campaigns - all based on the company's bovine mascots.

  1. Today on Twitter I noticed that they're having a Cow Appreciation Day on July 13, 2012.
  2. Folks all over the Twittersphere are getting their spots and cowbells ready for the big day.
  3. Don't have a costume? Chick-fil-A will help you make one.
  4. Chick-fil-A franchisees are doing their part to share the news with their local social networks.
  5. Chick-fil-A jumped in with all four hooves and developed a website in support of #CowAppreciationDay.
  6. There's also a great landing page with all the details (and pics from last year's #CowAppreciationDay) on the corporate website.
  7. Got some cute videos on YouTube, too.
  8. Cow Appreciation Day is Coming - July 13, 2012
  9. And you can RSVP on Facebook.
  10. AND, you can even tell the cows how much you appreciate them. Just send a tweet to @CFA_COW.
