  2. Today we met with some of our artisan partners in Ecuador. We saw the process and labor involved in creating the Tagua, acai, and pambil pieces. They shared this message: "This is my dream. I want my children to be somebody in life. I do this all for my family. " #noondayecuador

  3. Today we met with Louis and Marina and they shared about how they became tagua craftsman in Ecuador. Louis is a true artist and has a vision for his family and his business. His love for his wife, three children, and extended family is so apparent. His sister here is putting on the goldrush necklace we brought from home office - it is an item made in India, but they loved it and didn't see it as competing with their craft. Louis shared that many others make tagua items in his town but when we asked him he felt about competition he said, "God is for everyone, I'm not worried about competition". Amen and amen!//We left feeling inspired and connected, and excited to share the new Fall designs with you Aug 6th! Every item is truly made with love. #noondayecuador

  4. Marina shared her story today with the #noondayecuador team and I related to so much of it. She used to buy a little, sell a little, buy a little and then sell a little. She had to overcome her fears, cart her kids with her and now she has a thriving business. #weareconnected #bettertogether

  6. Yesterday was the day we had all been waiting for. We spent the first few days in Ecuador, exploring the beautiful city of Quito and trying to gain an understanding of the culture and of each other. But yesterday...we got to meet with a couple artisans that Noonday partners with. Y'all, I don't know if I can do their story justice. This is Luis and Marina, they live in the mountains of Otavalo. Before partnering with Noonday they were having to work in the market with their small children everyday, rain or shine. It is not what they wanted for their life. Thru tears Luis told his story and the hope he has for a future. Now they do not have to work on the market and are able to provide for their family. It is a beautiful story. You are helping write it with your purchases. #noondayecuador #fairtrade #bethechange

  7. As I stood atop Luis and Marina's home surrounded by unimaginable beauty, my heart was full with all the feels! This family's story is one of HOPE for a future, of legacies, of hospitality, of faith, of timely provision, and of community -- all the things I desire for my own life and family!
Prior to partnering with Noonday Collection to craft beautiful pieces like the Sonrisa Necklace (and one you'll see in just a few weeks! Eeekkk!) they had to sit at the local market with their young children trying to sell their products - come rain or shine! Through tears, Luis told us today how his work means he can not only provide for his family but he can do so without leaving his home. I have been through some tissues today, friends! Tomorrow is another full day of meeting with the talented artisans who lovingly make the Ecuadorian pieces! #noondayecuador

  8. PS: Ecuador is NOT ugly. 😍 It is impossible to be here and not be in awe of the beauty and Our Creator.
And the #noondayecuador crew is amazing! What an amazing group of women who inspire and challenge in the most loving and encouraging ways! ❤️ #nofilter

  12. This beautiful young woman is a relative of Luiz and Marina, another artisan couple we visited today. I loved observing her facial expressions as she, in turn, observed all of us. Her traditional dress outfit was beautiful! #noondayecuador

  13. Yesterday we stood on top of a mountain, 2.5 miles above sea level, talked and prayed. We talked about potential new artisan partners: groups who go into shops (i.e., brothels) and offer women jobs making jewelry, a way out of the places in which they're exploited. It is the deep desire of my heart to be able to partner with those groups one day, but for that to happen, @noondaycollection needs to grow. And growth is relatively easy: it happens when you say YES to hosting a trunk show, or YES to becoming an ambassador. At the top of the mountain we prayed for God to open doors that only He could open. I want to be part of that by walking through those doors. Will you walk through them with me? Together, let's link arms and build a flourishing world where children are cherished, women are empowered, people have jobs and we are connected! #noondayecuador

  15. What a gift to be able to spend time with these women and feel so at home and free to be myself. There is something special about being with my Noonday tribe. So many conversations and hugs and tears... and LOVE! I did not expect to gain such an incredible community when I signed up with Noonday, but I'm so glad I did! #noondayecuador #ilovemytribe #worldchangers

  17. I told my Ambassadors tonight that I have felt absolutely ME the past 2 days. What a gift these women offer me- the space to just be myself, crazy kids and all. Let's do this for one another more often- judgment free zones where we say, "I accept you just as you are." Our community is so dang good at that. I am grateful for every one of their yeses. They are headed to meet the artisans tomorrow while my tiny tribe of little people and hubbie head to the Galápagos. So sad to part with them! #noondayecuador

  19. Two days in to this trip and we all wonder how we didn't know one another before. Noonday Collection provides so much for so many and one of the greatest benefits we get as Ambassdors is sisterhood. It's amazing! (As is this view of Quito from 2.5 miles up!) #noondayecuador #noondaytogether
