The Huskers won all three sets against the Maryland Terrapins Wednesday night to make it their eighth straight win.
Right away Nebraska started off hot, much of what the team has been doing all year.
Nebraska kept attacking as they continued to put pressure on Maryland.
It wouldn't take long, after Maryland used their second timeout, for the Huskers to close out the first set.
But in the second set, the Terrapins came out with some energy.
Though it wouldn't take long for the Huskers to jump back on top.
Thanks to several aces from senior, Kelly Hunter, and some monster kills from senior Briana Holman, the Huskers rolled through the second set.
Nebraska once again jumped out to a nice lead in the third and final set.
Then, looking to close out the match, the Huskers had a comfortable 22-13 lead. However, when match point was nearing, it was no easy task for Nebraska, as Maryland refused to back down until this play.
The Huskers look to increase their winning streak to nine games when they host Rutgers this Sunday at 2 p.m.
