VP Says Mubarak Steps Down; Twitter, Internet Erupt With Responses

Vice President Omar Suleiman said Friday that President Hosni Mubarak stepped down and handed power to the military. The announcement was met with wild cheers from the crowd in Tahrir Square on the 18th day of protests, and instant reaction on the internet.
