Kansas City Chiefs vs Philadelphia Eagles takes place on Thursday Night Football tonight with the Chiefs looking to continue their perfect start to the new NFL season. The game is scheduled to start at 8.25 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream on the NFL TNF Network (details below).
Kansas City Chiefs running back Cyrus Gray (R) is grabbed by Baltimore Ravens linebacker Dannell Ellerbe during the second half of the Ravens' win in their AFC NFL football game in Kansas City, Missouri October 7, 2012.
The Eagles and Chiefs will clash tonight at Lincoln Financial Field, however, much of the attention from the game will be taking place on the sidelines as both teams feature new head coaches.
The Chiefs have installed Andy Reid – which adds spice to tonight's match up as he of course made his name coaching the Eagles for 14 seasons before being fired last year. He will return to Philadelphia tonight, and no doubt would love to claim dish out a big loss to his former team.
Reid needs no introduction; he won seven NFC East titles through his 14 year tenure at the Eagles, making five NFC Championship game appearances and earning a Super Bowl appearance in 2004.
Tonight Reid will face off against his successor at the Eagles, Chip Kelly, who is known for his offensive expertise.
The Chiefs come into tonight's game on a high. Having only winning two games all through last season, they have started this season by already winning two from two. Their success has come much in thanks to the team's defensive unit that has stubbornly refused to give away points easily.
