  1. A crowd of laptop-ready bloggers, journalists and content specialists turned out to Fisher Plaza Monday to learn new ways to get better data from a panel of experts from throughout local media at the fifth session of our 2012 SPJ Continuing Ed Series.
  2. The session, a hands-on workshop, featured resource-rich presentations from Kellie Cheadle of the KING 5 Investigators team, Kathy Gill of the University of Washington digital media program, data editor Cheryl Phillips of The Seattle Times and Matt Rosenberg of Public Data Ferret.
