This week at Donalda School ... September 25-29

Quality Education in a Caring Environment

  1. Greetings,
  2. It is hard to believe that the end of the first month is quickly approaching. As I watched the number of students wearing toques and mitts getting off the bus last week, I quickly realized this week that summer has left us and fall is here.
  3. One of the highlights of the past week was the beginning of the Donalda School Start Right program. We have 10 amazing three and four year olds in this class and they had a great kick off.
  4. Donalda School will be canvassing the Village of Donalda and the surrounding community for bottles on Friday, September 29. We are working in partnership with the Donalda and District Ag Society. They will be helping us pick up bottles and we will be helping them collect batteries. Please see the poster for more information. We will have a trailer at the school this week and you are more than welcome to drop any bottles off ahead of time.
  5. Reminder: K/1/2 Dental forms are due Oct 2.
  6. CARA volleyball started this week. Both teams took on the Stettler 'A' teams and were able to secure impressive victories. The girls volleyball team also played in Stettler on Saturday and took home the championship. With both teams being relatively young, it is amazing to see such a great start. This week the team continues CARA action on Wednesday when they travel to Stettler to play Christ-King.
  7. Here are some pictures of learning in action at Donalda School.
