  1. Merry Christmas Donalda School community,
  2. I want to start the newsletter by inviting friends and family to the Donalda School Christmas concert which is on Wednesday, December 20 at 7:00 pm. Like last year, the school will be presenting a K-9 musical. Miss Muzyka and the students have been working hard on the production and it would be wonderful to have a full house for the show. The school will provide refreshments and we are asking families to bring some snacks for after the show. The music is really catchy and I am sure it will be a most enjoyable night!
  3. Thanks to the Donalda School Council for the very nice Donalda School toques. From what I could tell, they were a big hit. It looks like we have some cooler weather on the way, so they will be put to good use.
  4. The Donalda and District Agricultural Society is sponsoring a Stay Safe training program for youth 9 (or completed Grade 3) - 13 years of age. Participants learn about being safe when they are without the direct supervision of a parent, guardian, or trusted adult, both at home and in their communities. The cost per participant is $10 and it will take place on Saturday, January 13 starting at 10 am. Students can register by paying the registration on KEV or by bringing $10 to the school. For more information, contact Beth Fulton.
  5. On January 13, McMann Youth and Family services is hosting a free interactive workshop for parents in Stettler called Raising Emotionally Intelligent Children. Please see the link below for information on the speaker and how to register.
  6. On Friday, the school will be providing a pizza lunch for students. The meal will consist of a piece of pizza, vegetables, and a juice box. Many classes will be having snacks in the afternoon during the Christmas parties. Please feel free to pack snacks for your child, if you think they need more food on this day.

  8. I hope you have a joyous Christmas!
