Marlon Kobacker is sustainability professional or in more subtle terms he is someone who advises clients in cases related to sustainability in a lot of various fields. He is widely known for his experience of more than 13 years in which he has successfully delivered sustainability outcomes to clients in the sectors of property, transport, energy, water, manufacturing, business, and education and government policies. The platform of his work being a global challenge, he has notably managed to work across almost every part of the planet. He was nominated for ‘New Achiever of the Year’ award in 2011 by the Property Council of Australia and in the year 2009 was nominated for “Young Achiever of the Year” by the UK Building Services. He has been selected many a times to speak in various locations like Inaugural South African Green Building Conference (Cape Town, 2008); Inaugural Israel Green Building conference (Tel Aviv, 2010) and a lot of other conferences throughout his career.

Senior ESD Consultant:
As a senior ESD consultant for Cundall, Marlon Kobacker
was included in a long list of projects. He offered his services for the Mc Donald’s Australia Sustainability Strategy and ‘store of the future’ project and the Barangaroo Master Plan, Sydney. Green Square Town Centre master plan, Perisher Alpine village master plan, Sydney international airport departure terminal and the University of Wollongong Sustainable Buildings Research Centre all had taken up advice from Senior ESD Consultant Marlon Kobacker. Apart from these projects he has also worked on the planning of South Australia Health and Medical research Institute; 1 Blig street, Sydney; JP Morgan Tower, Sydney; Westfield Sydney shopping Centre and workplace; JP Morgan workplace.
He was also the LEED advisor to Cundall for the first LEED certified project in Australia and also the first LEED Platinum certified project of the Southern Hemisphere. He had his hands on the Sydney University New School of business; Hyderabad International Convention Centre, India; Tiara United towers, Dubai; Qatar Science and Technology Park, Doha and Goldman Sachs Melbourne and Sydney Workplaces. He has had his share of experience of working in projects across Australia about Sustainable designs, thermal comfort modeling and water balance calculations for residential and mixed use projects.
