    Marketing recruitment agencies come in several forms, one being the job boards such as Career Builder, Monster and similar venues. These are not technically "recuriters" but they do make up a large part of the market for new talent.

    Some talent is recruited directly off of Linkedin, but many major brands like to use preferred job placement agencies with whom they are familiar and who they have done business with in the past.

    Then there are the contracted employment firms, or the head hunters, also called contingency recruiters. They work on a straight commission basis, so their incentive is the same as the person being recruited that is to get the position. So, the headhunter will want to find out all that can be listed about the potential candidate so all of their talents will fit what the hiring company is looking for.
