  1. The dog days of summer may officially be over but that doesn’t mean our canine companions can’t heat things back up.


    Nearly 100 dogs and their owners headed to Nor-Gwyn Pool in Upper Gwynedd on Saturday for the 2nd Annual Pooch Plunge – an opportunity for their owners and four-legged best friends to take one last dip before the pool closes for the season. 


    Dogs ran, jumped, barked and swam. Here is a look at Saturday's event through the eyes of The Reporter's community engagement editor, Amanda Piccirilli.
