What's your dream?

In recognition of the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech, we asked our Facebook friends to share their dreams.

  1. People will stop arguing about politics on Facebook and proactively do something instead.
  2. That we will one day come to recognise we are ONE RACE, the Human Race, and drop the superficial differences that devide us.
  3. That people will see that myself and my brother's and sister's in arms were willing to die for you no matter your, race, creed, or religion
  4. That America gets its "country over party" dialog back...
  5. ..that I will be treated as I treat others....with kindness. That we will finally live in a world free of judgment from others. That my children will not have to worry about the insults of other kids that were not raised to respect others like they were raised. To someday live in complete peace....happiness..and joy.
  6. I have a dream that no one will go hungry or without health care or a place to live. Love and care about each other, please!!
  7. My children and grandchildren grow up in a content, happy , safe world !!!
  8. ....that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed " We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal"....
  9. that one day a man or woman will be judged , not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I still have a dream, the same dream as Dr. King.
  10. We have found a cure for cancer, diabetes, heart disease, ms, altzheimer's,parkinsons, aids and autism, sids....and more!
  11. ...people will start acting like adults, use common sense and start thinking of others before themselves.
  12. That people will no longer vote for someone just because they have a letter next to their name and instead vote with their conscience.
  13. Peace will come for everyone
  14. Someday my 4 children will NOT be judged by the color of there skin ....,

  16. that no children go to bed hungry or abused.
  17. That kindness and compassion will be the rule, not the expectation
  18. The people of our country can learn to come together for the common good and mend the hate filled, destructive, me-only focus that is dividing us.
  19. I have a dream that Veterans will not have to be homeless.
  20. One day all children in our nation and in the world will have a high quality public education.

  22. That one day all hatred will cease to exist and that people will learn to accept people for who they are
