Trump Accuses Obama Administration of Illegal Wiretapping of Trump Campaign Phones

This week President Donald Trump accused the Obama administration of illegally wiretapping the phones of people in the Trump campaign at Trump Tower and has asked Congress to investigate. Many are still awaiting any evidence of said wiretap before they will believe the story.

  2. At the end of the week, President Donald Trump accused the Obama Administration of placing a wire tap of Trump Campaign member's phones and phones in the Trump Tower. He then asked Congress to begin an investigation into his claim.

  4. However, on Sun. Mar 05, FBI Director Comey released a statement asking the Department of Justice to reject the charge. He cited the possible "loss of credibility" of the FBI if they were to investigate with no evidence.

  6. Though, Congress is still set to open an investigation into the claims.
  7. Lawmakers from around the country reacted and issued statements about the allegations.
  8. Republican Senator Ben Sasse from NE has been very vocal about his thoughts on the issue. He is demanding more evidence before Congress should move forward.
  9. Some even claim that if the case were to open up, then President Trump should be worried about what information could be used against him.
  10. Citizens take to social media to react to wiretapping allegations. Some are clearly against the thought while others support it fully.
