ONA10: Meeting Twitterers 'IRL'

If you're still following the conference hashtag #ONA10, you may have noticed one common conversation piece: how many Twitter followers and followees the attendees met for the first time in real life. Ken Sands did something cool during the conference that ties into that-- whoever he talked to in the hallway, he took a picture and tweeted it out. He received lots of positive feedback for it-- some people thanking him for "putting faces to names in the digital world."

Some attendees, like @ckanal and @webjournalist, have started lists of the people they met in real life. @ckanal's seems the largest so far, sitting at 37 people.

Board member Ken Sands did something cool during the conterence that ties into that-- whoever he talked to in the hallway, nine times out of ten he took a picture and tweeted it out.

Sands received lots of postive feedback for it-- some people thanking him for what he called "putting faces to names in the digital world."

While most of the people he talked to he says he knew, some people he said he met for the first time as well. Whether you went to ONA10 or followed the conversation from home, take a look below, and see some of the faces of attendees outside the square box of their profile pictures.
