"Can anyone recommend a good, trusted car insurance company in Southern California (Los Angeles)?
Can anyone recommend good/trusted car insurance companies in Southern California (Los Angeles)? I just moved to Los Angeles from the East coast so I am not familiar with the local car insurance companies. I have had Geico for the past 6 months but I'm not sure if I want to stay with Geico. The customer service people are kind of rude.
What are my options to get my car back from the insurance company?
it is at a body shop that was part of the company that towed it from my accident. they said they wouldnt charge me a storage fee whether or not it is repairable as long as if its repairable i get it fixed there. that car is repairable, and i dont want to sell. i basically want to have it back, then try to repair it myself. and then keep it. what does the insurance company do then? will they give me the minimum amount of money they could repair it with and the rest i would pay?"

"Will my insurance go up, if I jumped lights?"
Will my insurance go up, if I jumped lights?"
"It would seem,by the comments I've gathered, it really isn't about affordable health insurance ...?"
it is about lifestyle. If that is the case then isn't this debate about Health Care simply over CONTROL? Should YOUR insurance rates go up if you have many health problems? I think so if you health problems stem from overeating and smoking and things like that you can help. People who engage in unhealthy habits like the 1st answer said should be charged very high rates that way when they do have problems, their rates won't go up. That depends on whether it's real insurance, where the costs are spread across a pool, or funny health insurance like we have now, which isn't really insurance at all, more like a form of extortion. The overwhelming majority of illnesses are not the fault of the sick person, and those who have the greatest costs are often so sick they are unable to work. ` Absolutely. If the insurance company faces higher outlays on your behalf, why wouldn't they charge you more in order to offset the difference? I would say that your insurance rates should be based more on your lifestyle habits than anything else. I have no problem with making people who smoke, are overweight or have other unhealthy habits pay more for thier health insurance. (It works this way with life insurance.)"
"Looking for auto insurance, do I need to report an accident?
I was driving a friend's car and was involved in an accident. I was not at fault and no ticket was issued. My friend's insurance paid for the damage on the other car. Do I need to report this accident while shopping for car insurance or can I leave it out? I live in California and was required to report the accident to the DMV even though I was not at fault.
