  1. Have you been part of the School for Change Agents? Hundreds of people have got involved through the live sessions; on social media; in the chat rooms; and by downloading the recordings from our website theedge.nhsiq.nhs.uk/school/. We are loving seeing the learning, enthusiasm, and energy by everyone involved.

  2. Two weeks ago was a brilliant Module 2, From Me to We by @kathrynperera

  3. Last week, module 3, was about rolling with resistance: the challenges of being a change agent, and how we can build resilience to get us through the tough times.

  4. This graphic sums up dealing with resilience: tough times will always happen, but better times will always arrive, too.

  5. If you'd like to know more about change agents challenging the status quo in the real world, check out this great blog:

  6. The difference between resilience and burnout:

  7. Many people are afraid of trying new things for fear of making a mistake...it's better to reframe it, and think about the lessons we can learn. It's an key part of building resilience, too.

  8. Continuing the theme of making mistakes...Let your kids do dangerous things, to help them learn: here are five (safe!) ideas.

  9. Module 4 of the School for Change Agents is about making change happen, and includes intrinsic vs extrinsic motivation - here's some extra pointers about it.

  10. Our latest Edge Talks last Friday featured The DNA of Care, with some incredibly moving stories. Visit our website to view the recording (and share with whomever might be interested):  http://theedge.nhsiq.nhs.uk/march-2017-dna-care-importance-listening-staff-stories/

  11. Make connections and build networks by having a randomised coffee trial! Many of you have been involved in an RCT as part of the School for Change Agents or Change Day, for example. If you would like to do one for your own organisation, team, or event here's some info to help you set one up.

  12. #endPJParalysis - a brilliant visual way of expressing a crucial message about care of our hospital patients.

  13. Carers are welcomed in the anaesthetic room at the Paget - putting the patient's needs at the centre of their care.
