Exploring Boston Book Fest w/ Ms. McCall

Boston Book Fest is a reader's dream! Last year I attended one session and knew I wanted to make a whole day of attending middle grade and young adult sessions this year. Below is live-tweet reporting with quotes and experiences from the day by myself and other attendees!

  1. Boston's Book Festival took place in the Copley area of Boston at nearby chapel halls and churches. The festival is a smorgasbord of single author lectures and multi-author panels featuring both highly successful best-selling writers and up-and-coming debut writers. This year's festival offered many middle grade and young adult sessions that appealed to librarians, educators and young readers alike.
  2. KIDS KEYNOTE: Featuring Rick Riordan at Trinity Church
  3. MIDDLE GRADE: MASTERS OF FANTASY: Featuring Holly Black, Soban Chainani, Cassandra Clare and Gregory Maguire hosted by Horn Book Editor Roger Sutton at Emmanuel Sanctuary
  4. YA: TACKLING TOUGH TOPICS: Featuring C. Desir, Sara Farizan, Bredan Kiely and Stephanie Kuehn hosted by Boston Public LIbrary's Laura Koenig at First Church Sanctuary
