  1. Game Of Thrones episode eight, The Mountain and The Viper, supplied one heck of a shock for fans who have n't yet read George RR Martin 's books all - and we are speaking Red Wedding-fashion shocks.

A significant character was killed off - one we've all grown pretty close to over season four. One we really, truly like.

Yep, Prince Oberyn Martell went the manner of the good guys in Westeros. Like Robb, Talisa, Catelyn and Ned Stark he was dispatched in a memorable style - having his eyes gouged out and finally his head beaten by Gregor Clegane aka the Mountain.

Oberyn's distinctive brand of badass spinning with a pike had got the better of The Mountain with the latter apparently outside and down. Hold on a Second there BUDDY!!! (Yes I know this article seems very interesting but give me a second) Before {you go further or go anywhere make sure you check out this Game of Thrones T-Shirt here|you go everywhere remember to check out this Game of Thrones t shirt here or go farther|you go everywhere make sure you check this Sport of Thrones t shirt out here or go farther|you-go further or go anywhere make sure that you check this Shirt, try this. Featuring the most discussed houses through season 4. If you just started observing you should get it. Buffs everywhere you-go will understand you're a fellow fan or should i-say Fe produced? And that should happen to be that. But Oberyn was avenging the death of his older sister Elia Martell and murdered - he also killed her two children. Understandably, as The Mountain lay expiring, Oberyn had some words he needed to say about the offense that is unspeakable. Oberyn was flipped by him around on his back, confessed to the crimes and killed The Red Viper. In very savage way.

There were bunches of distinct methods for dealing with the shock but headed to Twitter. But do not worry. The Viper and in real life The Mountain are buddies. Let this picture be the one we recall (not the other one that will probably give us nightmares... forever).
