The library serves Buffalo State students and members of the faculty and staff with more than a million research materials, including over 675,000 printed books, over 174,000 electronic books, and access to full-text articles from over 57,000 unique print and electronic journals. In addition, the library houses several special collections and the Buffalo State Archives.
  5. Librarians are available at the Reference Desk to assist you with your research. Visit or call us at 878-6300 during Reference Desk hours. See the link below for other ways to contact a librarian!  
  6. Borrow laptops, camcorders, digital cameras, and other items from Equipment Loan.  Computing specialists are also on hand to assist with technology issues of all kinds. 
  7. Computer labs house both PC and Macintosh computers, along with printersphotocopiers, and a scanner station. Wireless access is available throughout the building. StudyQuad is open 24/7 during the semester and offers quiet lab spaces, comfortable lounge areas, computers, and an assistive technology center.

Looking for a meeting place for group project work?  StudyQuad 110A and 110B offer technology-enabled workspace furniture, including a table with embedded hardware and interactive technology to encourage collaborative group work.  StudyQuad lounge has one group study room with a table and a large, flatscreen TV with a USB port. Book these rooms in advance using our convenient online booking system.
