- Europa Cinemas is joining forces with the Seville European Film Festival (4th-12th November 2016) to set up the second edition of the “Audience Development & Innovation Lab”, the third of this year after the seminars in Sofia in March and in Bologna in June.
The only way for cinemas to remain viable in the long term is through audiences. This seminar will look at ways of attracting and retaining audiences, building a programme, an identity and voice that suits the people that live around and develop tools to increase loyalty and frequency of visits. Demographics, marketing, architecture and engagement all have a role to play.
Taking place as part of the inspirational Seville European Film Festival, this seminar will be directed by Jon Barrenechea (Head of Marketing & Projects, Picturehouse Cinemas, United Kingdom) together with Marynia Gierat (Exhibitor, Kino Pod Baranami, Poland) and Barak Epstein (Exhibitor, Texas Theatre, Dallas, USA). This Lab will invite a diverse range of exhibitors to come together with other sections of the industry to share knowledge and experiences and work collaboratively to turn today’s perceived challenges into business opportunities.
- Second day of the Seminar! Let's start with the visit of one of the early members of the Network, the Avenida 5 Cines in Seville!
