- Recently, two interviews took place asking the question 'what is most important to you?'.
- When being asked this question, there are a number of things that go through your mind before you can put your finger on one particular thing.
- Is it family, your pets, your job? You decide
- The first interviewee was Jackson Burr, 15 year old brother. Though being a typical brother, the 'do I have to', seemed to be the only response coming out of his mouth until he realised there was no getting out of it he finally responded to the question.
- With Jackson's aspiring career path leading him to engineering, he feels that he has no choice but to make school his main priority.
- Mr. Burr, though young has set his sights high to where he wants his future to go, along with doing what he can in his power to prove that he can get there.
- The same question was then asked to Janene Burr, 45 year old mother, who had yet a very different response, being dependent on her stage in life.
- Janene feels that family play an important role in the way she feels in life on a daily basis.
- Living a busy life of working 9-5 everyday of the week, Ms Burr admitted that the weekends are for quality family time.
- Though these two responses are different it shows a sense of direction. The direction which these two family members are pushing themselves to go in. Different stages of their lives, yet still want to keep going forwards, not backwards.
