Public Involvement in Health Research Conference

A conference entitled “New Developments in Public Involvement in Research” and organised by the PenCLAHRC Patient and Public Involvement Team, took place in Exeter, UK, on 13th to 15th November 2013.

  1. It focused on the latest thinking on patient and public involvement (PPI) in health research, including how PPI can play a meaningful role in research projects.
  2. The conference was attended by around 150 delegates, who travelled far and wide to build on the evidence base for public involvement in health services research. The programme contained a mixture of keynote lectures, presentations, workshops and poster displays.
