Dr. Christian Heesch

In the years that he has spent learning about marine biology, there is on invertebrate that Dr. Christian Heesch does not wish to tangle with. During an ocean expedition where he was tasked with exploring specific coral reefs in the Atlantic Ocean, he came upon a large colony of bearded fire worms. Accidentally touching one, he was stung by their fine white barbs that inject poison. Of course this was not a fatal injection, but quite painful.
