Shaking It Up: Challenges and Solutions in Scholarly Information Management

  1. Our event facilitated a series of enlightening conversations between academic institutions and the providers of some of the best new software solutions addressing institutional and researcher “pain points” in the scholarly information management space.
  2. Amy Brand, Digital Science's VP Academic & Research Relations and VP North America, kicked the day off with her welcome and introductory address.
  3. Louis Culot, CEO of Biodata, who developed Labguru, presented a session on "Reproducibility, data collection, and laboratory management technologies".
  4. Kathryn Ivey, Director of the Gladstone Stem Cell Core, Gladstone Institutes gave a session on "Experience with an e-notebook and lab logistics system to effectively catalogue digital data, and managing projects digitally across larger teams"
