#News10 reporting eastbound truck driver choked while eating, lost consciousness, hit two cars, then a 3rd after going thru center divide.

CHP estimates westbound I-80 lanes will reopen at 3 p.m. due to fatal crash west of Old Davis Road. Eastbound lanes now open.

CHP now estimating a four-hour closure for westbound I-80 west of Old Davis Road, scene of fatal crash involving big rig and several cars.

CHP: At least 1 hour before eastbound lanes of I-80 will reopen, "multiple hours" for WB lanes. Rig may have crossed from EB to WB lanes.

CHP now reporting that the big-rig crossed the center divide from westbound to eastbound I-80, crashed into cars on both sides.

This is the 2nd big-rig crash in area since yesterday. 2 rigs collided w/ a car Wed. night on I-5 east of Woodland - luckily no fatalities

Subsequent CHP reports indicate the collision involved a big rig and small sedan, and that the sedan is on fire. Unclear on # of fatalities

Eastbound I-80 lanes have also been closed. Eastbound traffic diverted to Woodland via Highway 113.

Westbound lanes of I-80 closed, traffic diverted to Olive Drive and Old Davis Road. Anything east of that is backed up to the Yolo Causeway

Initial reports from CHP say crash involved a big-rig and two vehicles, and that the big rig is on fire. Crash occurred shortly after 10:30
