ELEVATE Innovation Camp: Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media [YCAM] 2015

The ELEVATE StartWell(TM) Challenge called for applicants from Asia & the UK to re-imagine play for the chance to attend the Innovation Camp in Japan, and secure future professional development and funding for their ideas. 12 Fellows were selected - this is their story!

  2. In preparing the camp, experts from across Asia and the UK contributed to the wealth of knowledge being developed around creative childhood play. Fellows were offered advise from different perspectives: architects, principals, technologists, designers, academics, and asked to contribute their own.

  6. Our good friend at Watershed, Clare Reddington, joined us in Japan as well as part of the Innovation is GREAT campaign launching Playable Cities. She provided a really nice introduction to the Fellows, as well as links to their blogs and work here:
