Revoking third party access to your Google account

Often apps and services will ask for access to your Google account. If you notice strange behaviour in your Google account you may need to revoke the permissions of other apps or services that you've previously allowed. Here is our guide to removing unwanted apps from your account.

  1. 1. Log in to your Google account and from any Google page click on your email address in the top right hand corner of the page. The drop down menu will appear. Select Account.
  2. 2. Select Security in the left hand menu. Then next to the Authorizing applications and sites option select Edit
  3. 4. Applications that can access your account are displayed. Click Revoke Access to remove any accounts you don’t use or trust.
