- Our day started with class pictures, which can be quite the ordeal (and learning experience) in Kindergarten. Our students were great though, and really worked well through a change in our regular routine and the added stress of smiling for a photograph. For the rest of the day, it was great to see the amount of language skills, math skills, social skills, problem solving skills, and collaboration that made their way into play. During our meeting time this morning, Mrs. Crockett extended the sound activity that we played with yesterday based on the story of THE MONSTER WHO LOST HIS MEAN. This inspired students to explore different sounds and words today, and even move their oral rhyming to some writing. Many students also spent time today creating people and furniture for the dollhouse. There was a lot of amazing math thinking and problem solving as students worked together. We're excited to extend this learning tomorrow. Please make sure to swipe through the photographs if it says, "Swipe for more," as there are many pictures together that tell a story.
