Amazon introduces new Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Fire HD line

Amazon unveiled its new Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Fire HD, an updated Kindle Fire, and more. This is Gear Live's live coverage of the 2012 Kindle event!

  1. Jason just noticed that the 4G LTE logo used was belonged to AT&T...so the Kindle Fire HD with 4G LTE will use the AT&T network, which has a long way to go to catch up to the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network.

  8. No word on if the existing Kindle Fire will receive any of these new software features, or even if they will come to both the new Kindle Fire, or just the Fire HD.
