An apparent fan of Christopher Dorner murdered three police officers in Baton Rouge, the Trump campaign somehow managed to get the GOP to turn its back on Ukraine, a large chunk of Melania Trump's speech to the Republican National Convention turned out to have been plagiarized from a Michelle Obama speech, Ted Cruz told Republicans to vote their conscience, Donald Trump dumped on NATO, David Duke decided to try running for the Senate as a Republican, Trump threatened to primary Ted Cruz and John Kasich, and Hillary Clinton chose Tim Kaine to be her running mate.
