  1. I'd rather Bill Shorten and Tanya Plibersek over Tony Abbot and Warren truss any day
  2. see how goes first , looks ok though
  3. He not as nice as Albo which will be a plus against Abbott. I'm not displeased by the result.
  4. Another disappointing political decision. It doesn't even shock me - have come to accept that the political tidal wave is going to continue for a while longer.
  5. It's a good and fair result.
  6. This result shows that caucus is still out of touch with the rank and file members- they still believe factional games are more important.
  7. I don't like this or him at all, I don't like the way the Labor party will be going now!
  8. A good fair competition, shows they are both popular but Shorten a little more with the caucus which is what counts in the end since they know and work directly with the candidates.
  9. Wonder why there's such a disconnect between what caucus and members want, particularly since both were fairly clear results.
  10. After watching them on Q&A recently. I am glad it turned out this way. Shorten was altogether more progressive.I think Tanya is more likely. to get the second top job now. It was a fair race and The ALP rank and file chose well.
  11. Should have been Tanya Plibersek. Easily the most articulate intelligent member they have. Shorten will be good sport though.
  12. I think he will do the most conscientious effort on his behalf. Well done Bill. I would have been happy for Mr Albanese too though.
  13. Bad move! He is a backstabbing, side swapping, egotist. Albo was my choice, and I will not vote Labor while Mr Shorten has the reins.
  14. Down to business with a better moral compass of knowing what to oppose. Not merely opposition for opposition sake our nation is more important than what Abbott did in opposition A blight that should not be repeated
