  10. We're collecting uplifting stories to come out of the NSW bushfires and here's one we wanted to share. Scarlet, a brush-tail possum, is one of the survivors of the fires. She was found badly burnt and with a Joey in her pouch but both are being lovingly restored to good health by WIRES volunteer Elizabeth Pinner, 67. Pinner is one of a team of 2000 who donate their time to WIRES to rescue injured wildlife. Photo by SMH photographer Peter Rae. #nswfires #bushfires #possumsofinstagram #goodnews
