Argentine-born Lionel Messi is regarded as one of the best football players in the world.
Messi has won three European titles with Barcelona F.C. and claimed the FIFA World Player of the Year honors four times.
However, Messi has constantly been compared to his compatriot, Diego Maradona.
Many still regard Maradona as a "saint" because he delivered the World Cup title for Argentina in 1986.
Messi came within a whisker of winning his country the World Cup in Brazil, but fell short to the superior German side.
Because of this, many pundits will say that it is a shortcoming for him because of his talent and greatness.
Despite taking on the responsibility of trying to win the big prize, Messi will not lose any sleep because he understands that all of the accomplishments are only a by-product of what he really loves: Playing the game of football.
Everyday we are constantly bombarded with comparisons.
Many would wish that we were like this person or that person.
When we don't live up to their expectations, then we feel guilty of it.
The truth of the matter is that you should not worry about being someone else because what you bring to the table is very unique that people will take notice.
