— UK Civil Service (@UKCivilService)Thu, Dec 18 2014 09:06:32 - I think social value like a Christmas tree, where people saw value like baubles. more was better. I want 1 bauble: "Get great value" 1/2

Professions and Professionalism in the Civil ServiceIn recent years we've been trying to raise the profile of professions and professionalism in the Civil Service. Some civil servants - lawyers or psychologists for example - belong to professions which are externally regulated. Others such as commercial and Project, Programme and Portfolio Management (P3M) experts belong to groupings which are increasingly acquiring the trappings of a formal profession.- Ellie: "What's the plan to build #Commercial capability in depts that aren't traditionally commercial?" @BillCrothersCCO #AskCivilService

— UK Civil Service (@UKCivilService)Thu, Dec 18 2014 09:20:35 - There's a view in the CS the grass is always greener, but the Private sector isn't always brilliant... 1/3
